Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth (FBP) is committed to being an active corporate leader in the communities that have supported nuclear and environmental remediation missions at the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth site for nearly 65 years. It is the mission of FBP to create opportunities for area students to excel in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts* and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.). The S.T.EA.M. Scholarship is open to all 2020 graduating seniors attending a high school within the counties of Jackson, Pike, Ross and Scioto.
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and have been accepted to attend an accredited college or university with a major in a S.T.E.A.M field. The scholarships, each valued at $2,000, will be awarded one time to 12 area students.
