At the October 23rd Active Acorns meeting, Paramedic Ryan Foster from the Jackson County EMS visited and taught the students about basic first aid, the Heimlich Maneuver, AED use, and CPR. The students did hands-on training and also got to tour the squad. Ryan did a fantastic job and provided very useful information. The Active Acorns Club is sponsored by Holzer Health Systems and the Jackson County Health Department.
