Grant's Warm Wishes at OHES

grant2 nov16Every student at Oak Hill Elementary School received a pair of gloves and a toboggan in preparation for winter thanks to Grant Lambert, an OHE third grader.  Great idea + hard work and donations = 600 pairs of gloves and 600 toboggans.  Thanks to Grant and all who made this possible.

Aikido at Active Acorns

aikido1 nov16The OHES Active Acorns White Stripe Team recently enjoyed learning Aikido from Sensei Todd Crabtree from the Seishin Ryoku School. Todd has visited the Active Acorns for four straight years, and he is always one of the most popular presenters.

25-Mile Walkers

For their efforts, they received the club bracelet and t-shirt. The Walking Oaks Club is co-sponsored by JCHD and SOMC. Great job, boys!   November 2016

For this achievement, each received the club t-shirt and bracelet along with the "25" charm. The Walking Oaks Club is co-sponsored by Southern Ohio Medical Center and the Jackson County Health Department.     October 2016
