2014 OMEAStudents from the Oak Hill High School Band performed at Ohio University for the Ohio Music Education Association's District 17 Solo and Ensemble event held on Saturday, February 1, 2014.  These students performed solos for a judge and received superior and excellent ratings.  Students pictured (L-R):  Lisa McCain, Abby Denny, Athena McGinnis, and Shane Woolum.

jacksonbandshowThe Marching Oaks performed at the 1st Annual Jackson Band Show and brought home the Spirit Trophy.  They also placed 2nd auxiliary and 3rd place band in the parade that evening.  Congratulations to the Marching Oaks on two outstanding performances. BandCP1The Oak Hill Band traveled to Sandusky May 10-12, 2013 and attended the Music In The Parks Competition.  Schools from many surrounding states participated in the competition.  The Oak Hill Concert Band performed on Friday for adjudication and received an excellent rating and got 1st place in their class.  On Saturday, the Marching Oaks marched the Cedar Point Amusement Park main midway entertaining all the park guests.
