FCCLA & Operation Evergreen

Category: FCCLA

OpEvergreen007Members of Oak Hill Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) celebrated Christmas early.  In support of US military serving overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait, FCCLA members made Christmas ornaments to be shipped with fresh Ohio grown evergreens.  The early schedule is to ensure the tress and ornaments arrive around the world in time for holiday celebrations.  Yards of garland and dozens of tiny ornaments that also hold messages of support and encouragement from the Oak Hill students were packed.  It is a privilege for advisor, Mrs. Hamilton, and FCCLA members to continue their support of the Ohio Tree Grower’s project Operation Evergreen.
