mob miami1 14On Saturday, September 6, 2014 the Oak Hill Marching Oaks traveled to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio to perform at the Redhawks vs. Eastern Kentucky University football game. The Marching Oaks performed in Yager Stadium at halftime with ten other high school bands from Ohio. The Marching Oaks also performed their own halftime postgame show following the game.

2014 OMEAStudents from the Oak Hill High School Band performed at Ohio University for the Ohio Music Education Association's District 17 Solo and Ensemble event held on Saturday, February 1, 2014.  These students performed solos for a judge and received superior and excellent ratings.  Students pictured (L-R):  Lisa McCain, Abby Denny, Athena McGinnis, and Shane Woolum.

jacksonbandshowThe Marching Oaks performed at the 1st Annual Jackson Band Show and brought home the Spirit Trophy.  They also placed 2nd auxiliary and 3rd place band in the parade that evening.  Congratulations to the Marching Oaks on two outstanding performances.
