600+ Scholarships Up To $25,000 Each!

The Horatio Alger Association is seeking junior and senior students who display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Students must have financial need and a determination to turn adversity into opportunity and pursue their American Dream.

The Horatio Alger Association is one of the nation’s largest need-based scholarship programs for high school students who have overcome significant adversity and are committed to earning a bachelor’s degree. High school students with financial need who display integrity, perseverance, and a clear determination to turn challenges into opportunities to pursue their American Dream, should consider applying for the scholarship. More than 600 scholarships are awarded every year, with amounts ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.

Junior Scholarship Deadline: For Juniors, the application is open from December 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026.

Senior Scholarship Deadline: For Seniors, the application is open from December 1, 2025 to February 15, 2026.
