2026 Jackson County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship
In order to help young people, continue their efforts toward becoming self-directing, productive, and contributing members of society, the Jackson County Cattlemen’s Association (JCCA) has established a scholarship, which will be awarded to a deserving young adult. This $500 scholarship is available to a minimum of one Jackson County student who is a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled college student. Previous scholarship winners are not eligible.
CRITERIA FOR BASIS OF AWARD
The following consideration will be given in the selection of a scholarship recipient:
- They should have a 2.5 cumulative GPA in high school or college.
- Consideration will be given toward the participation of the student in civic and co-curricular activities.
- Students should demonstrate an agricultural background and/or involvement in 4-H and/or FFA.
- Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree of an agricultural nature.
Applicants for the scholarship must complete and submit it to the JCCA Board of Directors:
- Completed scholarship application form, typed, or legibly printed in black ink.
- One portrait in the space provided on the application form.
- One official transcript of grades.
- A letter of recommendation.
