2026 Better Business Bureau (BBB) Students of Integrity Scholarship

$5,000 Scholarship 

Six high school seniors from BBB Cincinnati’s 22-county service area* will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to help cover post-secondary education expenses.  

Since 2003, this essay-based scholarship has recognized students who demonstrate a strong understanding of ethics. Applicants will submit a 500-1,000-word personal essay reflecting on an ethical dilemma. This year’s prompt explores “hustle culture” and the ethical implications of taking shortcuts under pressure. Unlike many scholarships, SOI does not consider GPA, grades, or extracurriculars- the focus is on character and integrity. 

Scholarships may be applied to any accredited post-secondary institution, including colleges, trade schools, and cosmetology programs. 

Eligibility: 

•    Current high school senior 
•    At least 13 years old 
•    *Reside in one of the following counties:  
•    Indiana: Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union 
•    Kentucky: Boone, Campbell, Kenton 
•    Ohio: Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Gallia, Hamilton, Highland, Jackson, Pike, Lawrence, Scioto, and Warren (except zip codes 45005, 45066, 45068)
