Oak Hill Band members attended the Ohio Music Education Association’s District 17 Solo and Ensemble competition at Gallia Academy High School. Students performed their music for adjudication and received two Superior and three Excellent ratings for their performances. Congratulations to OHES 4th graders Matthew Boggs (L) for achieving 50 miles walked and Chloe Burchett (R) for achieving 75 miles walked in the OHES Walking Oaks Club. Matthew earned a water bottle and Chloe earned a new watch for their efforts. Great job, students! The Walking Oaks Club is sponsored by the Jackson County Health Department, Holzer Health System, and the Atomic Credit Union. February 2019
The 2019 OHES Souper Bowl Food Drive for the Growing Oaks Food Program and the Oak Hill Food Pantry was conducted, and the students and staff collected 3,020 food items for donation. The winning class with the largest donation was Philip Malone's 5th grade class, and they won a donut party for their efforts.
Our school district is currently using Freedom Café in our food service operation to keep track of deposits and items sold to your child’s account along with other great features! Freedom Café includes a mobile app, My Freedom Café, that can be used to ensure that you are always connected to your child’s school even if you are too busy to open the app.
e-Funds for Schools Online Payment Option for Meal Program
The Oak Hill Union Local School District is pleased to introduce a new program called e~Funds for Schools. This program offers various options for parents/guardians who choose to make payments online and is extremely user friendly.
