The Active Acorns had a brand new experience at our November 6, 2019 meeting: Pound Fitness! Michele Richards-Turner and her Pound Fitness co-instructor Tishina were nice enough to visit our meeting and get the students moving with this very fun activity. The kids loved it, and they had a great workout. The Active Acorns Club is sponsored by Holzer Health Systems and the Jackson County Health Department.
Congratulations to 5th grader Zoey French (L) for achieving 150 miles walked in the OHES Walking Oaks Club! Third graders Cynthenie Shepard (C) and Ty Kanouse (R) reached 25 miles walked and earned their Club t-shirts.
