2023 G.R.I.T. Scholarship

Greatness. Resilence. Integrity. Trust.

Sponsored by Taylor Hale

One Time Cash Scholarship of $500.00

Taylor Hale is a 2012 graduate of Oak Hill High School. She stood alongside other members of her class as a Class Valedictorian. Taylor attended Ohio University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduating with her bachelors, the small town girl moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2016. She began working as a Registered Nurse at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. She has cared for people of all ages, race, and socioeconomic backgrounds during some of their worst days. Taylor took pride in showing G.R.I.T. while caring for oncology patients and families. Although, the acronym was formed as she watched oncology patients show G.R.I.T. fighting their own battle every twelve hour shift. Today, Taylor has her Masters of Science of Nursing from The Ohio State University. She is currently searching for her own personal Superbowl, as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She currently resides in Columbus, OH with her pup, Harvey. Go Bucks!
