Smittle Selected for Choir

Also pictured is choir teacher Brittany Koogle.At the September meeting of the Oak Hill Board of Education, OHHS junior Maggie Smittle (L) was recognized for being selected for the All-State Choir as a Soprano 1. She is the first Oak Hill student to make it into the prestigious All-State Choir and to be accepted into an All-State Ensemble. Based on her Class A Solo performance and vocal warmups, Maggie was selected from 1,200 student applicants in grades 9-12. In February 2024, she will perform in a 155-member choir at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) convention. Also pictured (R) is Choral Director Brittany Koogle.     September 2023
