Oak Hill Union Local Schools has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. Oak Hill joins 623 districts across the country in receiving the prestigious award in 2019. This is the fourth consecutive year Oak Hill has been recognized for demonstrating outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students.
Oak Hill Band members attended the Ohio Music Education Association’s District 17 Solo and Ensemble competition at Gallia Academy High School. Students performed their music for adjudication and received two Superior and three Excellent ratings for their performances.
