blooddr1 mar14The Oak Hill FCCLA is proud to announce that 33 units of blood were collected at the March 25, 2014 OHHS blood drive. Held with the American Red Cross, the FCCLA chapter sponsors two blood drives a year.  This school year, students, staff and community members have provided lifesaving blood products for 213 patients. Blood services are often needed by accident victims, cancer patients and those in need of surgery.  FCCLA member Corey Jones actively sought donors and volunteered at the drive. Corey said, “It made me feel really good to know we were helping people and saving lives.” Corey and Mrs. Judy Hamilton, FCCLA Advisor, invite the community to any upcoming American Red Cross blood drive.
