The Oak Hill FFA is presenting Safety Town June 3rd - 7th from 9:30-11:30am at Oak Hill Elementary School. Safety Town is a program that teaches children safety lessons about busses, playgrounds, bikes, and more. Students enrolling into kindergarten are eligible to attend at no cost. This program is taught by volunteer FFA members and community leaders. You may register online by clicking here. Registration ends May 28.
Congratulations to 5th grade student Ashton Sturgill for achieving Hall of Fame status in the OHES Walking Oaks Club. During the 2018-2019 school year, Ashton walked 500 miles. During his three years of membership in the club, Ashton walked 875 miles. Great job, Ashton! May 2019
Oak Hill Elementary School will be open to students on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and July from 8:30am-noon (with open library from 11:00am-12:30pm).
Summer School will start Tuesday, June 4th, and end Thursday, July 25th.

Mr. Randy Layton, Principal of Oak Hill High School, has announced the honor graduates for the Class of 2019. The valedictorians of this year’s graduating class are Ms. Katie Johnson, Ms. Tomi Kelly, Ms. Baleigh McNerlin, and the salutatorian is Mr. Noah Cooper. Oak Hill Seniors graduated on Friday, May 17th.
Pictured is everybody that won at least one event in the Jackson/Vinton County Meet. Oak Hill girls included Macy Mullett (front row) winning the 400 and Peyton Miller (second row) was high point winner. Peyton won 4 events: High Jump, 100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, and Long Jump. Oak Hill boys Cameron Kerns, Jacob Turner, Michael Caldwell, and Luke Stewart won the 4x100 (all four are in the back right of the photo). Click image for larger view. April 2019
