Joyce York McClurg is a 1962 graduate of Oak Hill High School. She has served our schools and community in so many ways over the years. Joyce has been involved with the Beautify Oak Hill Committee and Festival of Flags Committee.She has selflessly volunteered her time to the Oak Hill Band Program and Oak Hill Choir Program since 2006. She has also shared her talents of announcing for the Marching Oaks. Joyce has served our students playing and sharing her talents on the piano and has also played for graduation. Joyce has given back to her school district and community for the betterment and enjoyment of our village as a whole.

Jack Woolum was a 1966 graduate of Oak Hill High School. After high school, Mr. Woolum pursued his higher education at Franklin University earning a degree in business. He went on to earn a Masters degree from Eastern Michigan University and was credentialed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Mr. Woolum was employed by several large companies throughout his long career and the last fifteen years were spent employed by the United States Department of Defense (DOD) and traveling the world. Mr. Woolum was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He recognized the importance of education for rural youth and credited his own education with allowing him to live a life of opportunity and success. A scholarship has been named in his honor to help other Oak Hill High School students reach for the stars.
