Fifth grader Ashton Sturgill (L) has achieved 350 miles walked for the year, walking several miles each day at school and at home. Ashton loves the outdoors, so he received a goodie bag from the Bass Pro Shop, which included a hat, t-shirt, and compass. Third grader Bentley Hamilton (C) has achieved 100 miles walked, and he earned a new hat and digital pedometer. Fourth grader Matthew Boggs (R) has achieved 75 miles walked, and he earned a new watch for his efforts. Great job, boys! The Walking Oaks Club is sponsored by the Jackson County Health Department, Holzer Health Systems, and the Atomic Employees Credit Union.     April 2019
