Active Acorn Field Trip
The Oak Hill Elementary Active Acorn Fitness Club took a field trip in March 2014 to the Southern Ohio Medical Center LIFE Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
3rd Graders Recognized
At the March 2014 meeting, the Board of Education recognized these Oak Hill Elementary School students for completing the Reading portion of Study Island for their Third Grade year.

The Madison-Jefferson Fire Department recently conducted a coat drive for needy students at Oak Hill Elementary. Several high quality coats and other winter apparel were donated. Many thanks to Fire Chief Chris Walls and all members of the MJFD for this generous donation.

100 Mile Club Achievement
Congratulations to Katelyn Ratliff, a 4th grade student at OHES, who recently reached the 25 mile level of the 100 Mile Club. The 100 Mile Club encourages students to reach 100 miles walked during the school year. For reaching 25 miles, Katelyn received a 100 Mile Club t-shirt.
