Jackson County Honors Band
The best high school musicians Jackson County has to offer have joined forces to form the Jackson County Honors Band, with its inaugural performance on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College.
The 65-member band is comprised of students from Jackson High School, Oak Hill High School and Wellston High School. Each member was nominated by their high school band director, and selected by a committee consisting of the three directors.

Marching Oaks at Jackson
Oak Hill performed at the 2nd Annual Jackson Band Show Saturday, September 20, 2014. The Marching Oaks were accompanied by the Oak Hill Cheerleaders. Their performance was excellent. Anyone with any ties to Oak Hill should be proud of their performance.
Marching Oaks Perform at Miami
On Saturday, September 6, 2014 the Oak Hill Marching Oaks traveled to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio to perform at the Redhawks vs. Eastern Kentucky University football game. The Marching Oaks performed in Yager Stadium at halftime with ten other high school bands from Ohio. The Marching Oaks also performed their own halftime postgame show following the game.
