Math Team Competes
Oak Hill High School sent a team to compete at the Marshall University Mathematics Competition on May 10, 2016. Pictured (L-R) Carlee Dempsey, Tyler Rice, and Abbi Hubbard. There were 60 competitors from 20 schools vying for cash prizes.
FFA Recognized by Board
At its November 2013 meeting, the Board of Education recognized the FFA Officers and Mr. Matt Bennett of the Vocational Agriculture Department who discussed their trip to Louisville for the 86th National FFA Convention & Expo.

Canter Competes in Boston
Congratulations to Tyler Canter who placed in the top 5 at the BPA State Leadership Conference in the Advanced Spreadsheet contest. He went on to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Boston, MA which was held May 5-9, 2016.
Dempsey Awarded FFA Degree
Oak Hill High School 2012 graduate, Dirk Dempsey (L) was awarded The American FFA Degree in recognition of his years of academic and professional excellence. Each year, the National FFA Organization honors FFA members who show the utmost dedication to the organization through their desire to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Students Attend BPA Conference
Emma Jordan, Tyler Canter, AJ Meldick, and Michael Hays attended the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference in Columbus, Ohio along with their teacher Tammy Roush. Close to 1,700 students competed at this year's SLC.
