Mr. Randy Layton, Principal of Oak Hill High School, has announced the honor graduates for the Class of 2016. The valedictorians of this year’s graduating class are Ms. Kayla McNeal and Ms. Kaley Potter, and the salutatorian is Ms. Jenna Spees.
Oak Hill Seniors graduated on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 7:00pm in the high school gymnasium.
Ms. Kayla McNeal is the daughter of Paul and Wilma McNeal. Her school activities include Varsity Cheerleading and Varsity Volleyball. She is also a member of The National Honor Society, Hi-Q Team, Vo-Ag, Journalism Club, and Senior Class President. Kayla is also a member of The Old Country Tabernacle, a member of The Oak Hill Historical Society, and on Oak Hill Festival of Flags Queen’s Committee. Ms. McNeal will be attending Ohio University this fall and to major in Journalism-News and Information, with hopes of becoming a broadcast journalist.
Ms. Kaley Potter is the daughter of Lisa Davis and Jerome Potter. Her school activities include National Honor Society, Calculus Club, and Varsity Softball. Ms. Potter plans on attending Ohio University to study psychology and obtain her Ph. D.
Ms. Jenna Spees is the daughter of Greg and Karen Spees. Her school activities include National Honor Society, Yearbook, High Q Team, and FFA. Ms. Spees plans on attending Marshall University and major in meteorology.
