OHHS sophomore Philipp Schmittner competed in Advanced Spreadsheets at the BPA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. Philipp placed second out of forty-eight students from across twenty-five states.
He also earned an Ambassador Torch Award, which promotes professionalism and leadership in both career development and person growth. To earn this award, Philipp had to earn and document over 490 Torch points in seven categories which included Patriotism, Leadership, Cooperation, Knowledge, Friendship, Service, and Love, Hope, and Faith.
