2022 OHES Food Drive
Oak Hill Elementary had an amazing 2022 Kick-Off Food Drive for the Oak Hill Food Pantry, with students and staff collecting 2,721 food items. The winning class with 244 items was Tori Duncan’s 3rd grade class, followed in close second by Andrea Hale’s 4th grade class with 205 items.
Walking Oaks
Congratulations to the following students for achievements in the Oak Hill Elementary School Walking Oaks Club: 4th grader Thunder Bolt Boyd (100 miles), 5th grader Cale Hutchins (200 miles), and 3rd grader Parker Hutchins (75 miles). To date, OHES Walking Oaks members combined have walked over 1,000 miles this school year. Great job, students! April 2022

Walking Oaks
Congratulations to 5th graders Bella Shephard and Jolee Miller for achieving 50 miles walked in the OHES Walking Oaks Club, and to 4th grader Thunder Bolt Boyd for achieving 75 miles. Great job, students! The Walking Oaks Club is sponsored by the Jackson County Health Department. February 2022
OHES Souper Bowl Success
The 2022 OHES Souper Bowl collected 3,057 food items for the Oak Hill Food Pantry. Emily Woods’ 2nd grade had the biggest collection and earned a party. Students and staff were encouraged to wear shirts of their favorite team and those who participated were entered in a random prize drawing. Staff winners were Jackie Hildenbrand and Stacy Adkins. Student winners were Clark Bartels, Morgan Hammond, Devon Detty, Mycah Martin, Bella Erwin, Raevyn Stumbo, Bristol Strickland, Hannah Kelly, Ryder Hall, Karrson Johnson, Easton Myers, Cindy Craig, and Gracyn Sowers. Colton Perry and Clayton Lester were also student winners, but aren't pictured. Great job, OHES!
