Active Acorns Field Trip 2019
The 2018-2019 OHES Active Acorns Fitness Club had their field trip to Southern Ohio Gymnastics Academy. The 71 members enjoyed the various activities and equipment the facility offers. 175 Miles Walked!
Congratulations to 5th grader Ashton Sturgill for achieving 175 miles walked in the OHES Walking Oaks Club, which is sponsored by the Jackson County Health Department, Holzer Health Systems, and Atomic Employees Credit Union. Ashton earned a McDonald's gift card for his efforts. Ashton is aiming to beat his record of 250 miles walked last school year. March 2019
Walking Oaks Milestones
Congratulations to two OHES students for achievements in the Walking Oaks Club. Fifth grader Ashton Sturgill (L) has achieved 125 miles walked and earned a Fuel Up to Play 60 bag. Third grader Bentley Hamilton (R) achieved 50 miles walked and earned a water bottle. 100-Mile Walker
