2019 Bellisio Foods Summer Scholarship Program
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the start of work.
- Applicants must be attending college or vocational school in the 2019 - 2020 school year.
- Full-time, 1st and 2nd Shifts available
- Starting Wage: $10.74 per hour
- If you fulfill your commitment, Bellisio Foods, Inc. will award a scholarship to your chosen college in the amount of 25% of your gross wages earned over the summer.

2019 Jackson County EMS / Wellston Fire Department Joint Scholarship
This scholarship is intended to provide two public safety certifications. Emergency Medical Technician (150 hours) and Firefighter 1 (180 hours).
- The concept behind this program is once both certifications are complete the individual will be able to start a career in Public Safety.
- The two courses could be completed within six months
and the individual could be eligible for hire in Ohio, making 35k to 60K in their first year.
- They are offering this Scholarship to all three
County schools districts and picking one from each district. There is
potential that if only one school applies and there are multiple
applicants we may offer more to one school.
- The value of this Scholarship is $2,000.00

- Three (3) original references.

The Crystal Lloyd-Brigantti Women in STEM Scholarship
$500 Cash Award
Crystal Lloyd Brigantti is a graduate of the Oak Hill High School Class of 1996 and an officer in the United States Army. After graduating from Oak Hill, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati in 2000 and went on to obtain a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2008. In 2018 she completed a Master of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business. As an Army officer, she has served in Georgia, Bosnia, Kuwait, Iraq, South Korea, Kentucky, Hawaii, and Virginia. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society and the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society.
Crystal believes that education is the key to open any door. She has been fortunate to pursue her (many) educational interests while caring for the health of others and while serving her country. As a lifelong learner, she wants to encourage young women to pursue their educational dreams in STEM fields. She values academic excellence, strong personal values, and a philanthropic spirit. Crystal believes the undergraduate college experience may be the single most influential period in a person’s life, and she is excited for the opportunity to help a deserving young women achieve her educational goals.
Must be a female entering a post-secondary education program in one of the following fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
The scholarship will be paid upon presentation of proof of enrollment as a full-time student in a post-secondary education program in a field that falls under the STEM umbrella. This proof must be presented to the Oak Hill Union Local School District Treasurer.
