2018 Ohio State University Delma L. Roush Scholarship

A $7 million estate gift was given by the late Delma L. Roush. The Roush Fund, endowed in perpetuity, will provide annual, renewable support to students who reside in and graduated from a high school in Gallia, Jackson, or Meigs Counties. Scholarships may cover the full cost of attendance for each year. The award may be renewed for up to four years (two years at Ohio State ATI).

Requirements:

  • Top third of your high school graduating class
  • Have a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA in college each year
  • Live in Gallia, Jackson, or Meigs Counties
  • Must complete the FAFSA by February 1st
  • Must complete the CFAES online scholarship application by February 15th
  • Declaring a major in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (including Ohio State ATI)

2018 Rumpke Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Eligibility: 

Graduating seniors in Jackson County, Ohio pursuing a two or four year degree at an accredited institution after graduation are eligible.

How to Apply:

Ohio University College of Education Scholarship - The Ronald D. and Joan Riddle Giles Scholarship

Guidelines:

  • Recipients must be attending the Ohio University-Athens campus as a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled in or accepted for admission to the Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education. 
  • Students must also demonstrate financial need based on federal aid standards, as determined by the University's Financial Aid Office. 
  • Students must have permanent residency in Allegheny County, PA, or one of the fourteen Ohio counties:  Adams, Athens, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Vinton, and Washington.
