OAKS After School Program Review (excerpted from the 2019-20 Executive Summary/Evaluation). The Executive Summary is a portion of the after school evaluation that is performed yearly during the span of the 21st Century Grant. Per grant guidelines, Oak Hill Elementary is asked that the Executive Summary be shared with the public to help promote the program. Congratulations to third grade Walking Oaks members Cale Hutchins (L) for reaching 100 miles and Quinton Chambers (R) for reaching 50 miles walked. The Walking Oaks Club is sponsored by the Jackson County Health Department and Holzer Health Systems. March 2020
Active Acorns Keep Fit
The Winter 2020 Active Acorns Team enjoyed their presentation of “Pound Fitness” by local YMCA instructors Michele Turner and Tishina Harris. This fun workout has been one of the students’ favorites this year. The Active Acorns Club is sponsored by Holzer Health Systems and the Jackson County Health Department. March 2020
