Walking Oaks Achievers
Congratulations to OHES 3rd graders Thunder Bolt Boyd, Bella Boggs, Gracyn Allen, Claire Lunsford, and Khloie Scott for achieving 50 miles walked in the OHES Walking Club and earning water bottles. Fourth grader Emilee Hatfield achieved 25 miles and earned the club t-shirt. The Walking Oaks Club is sponsored by a grant from the J Floyd Dixon Foundation. Great job, students! November 2020
OHES Veterans Day 2020
Oak Hill Elementary School would like to thank Cody Rochus and his wife, Ashley Rochus, for the presentation he gave about serving in the United States Coast Guard.
Chief Petty Officer Cody Rochus was born in Westerville, Ohio, Mrs. Ashley Rochus was born in Gallipolis, Ohio and they are both graduates of Oak Hill High School in the class of 2004. Mrs. Rochus and Chief Rochus have been married since September 13th, 2008. They currently live in Saco, Maine with their nine year old Yellow Lab named Roxie Mae.
