Walking Oaks Achievers
Several Oak Hill Elementary students have made achievements in the Walking Oaks Club, sponsored by Holzer Health Systems and the Jackson County Health Department. Third graders Morgan McCarty achieved 25 miles, Stella Lester 50 miles, and Cale Hutchins 50 Miles. Fifth graders Matthew Boggs achieved 50 miles and Chloe Burchett has achieved 250 miles. Congratulations to the following Oak Hill Elementary students for accomplishments in the OHES Walking Oaks Club. Third graders Cale Hutchins and Whitley Barry have reached 25 miles walked, while third grader Jolee Miller gained the 50 miles achievement. Fifth grader Charissa Krannitz has reached 75 miles, fifth grader Chloe Burchett 200 miles, and fifth grader Zoey French 225 miles. Great job to all the students for their efforts. Students Learn Pound Fitness
The Active Acorns had a brand new experience at our November 6, 2019 meeting: Pound Fitness! Michele Richards-Turner and her Pound Fitness co-instructor Tishina were nice enough to visit our meeting and get the students moving with this very fun activity.
