OHES Receives Dixon Grant
Oak Hill Elementary is happy to announce that it is a recipient of a J. Floyd Dixon Memorial Fund of Community Foundations, Inc. grant for 2014-2015 to support the purchase of books for the school library. The Dixon Fund awards grants to non-profit organizations located in Jackson County that are focused primarily on education and health issues. ALS Challenge
Oak Hill Elementary School Principal Adam Michael and Assistant Principal Whitney Crabtee were challenged by kindergarten student Joshua Saylor and 5th grade student Aydan Adkins to support ALS.

More and More Walkers
Congratulations to 3rd grade students Haley Ratliff and Nathan Clutters, 4th grade students Alaina Bevard, Madison Johnson, Adam Kamer, Faith Evans, and Harleigh Coy and 5th grade students Emily Doss, Kenny Canter, and Tristin Gillman. All of these students recently achieved the 25 mile level in the OHES 100 Mile Club, and for their efforts received a 100 Mile Club t-shirt.
