25-Mile Walker

Congratulations to Garrett McNerlin, a 4th grade student at OHES, who recently reached the 25 mile level of the 100 Mile Club.  The 100 Mile Club encourages students to reach 100 miles walked during the school year.  For reaching 25 miles, Garrett received a 100 Mile Club t-shirt.

Coats Donated by MJFD

The Madison-Jefferson Fire Department recently conducted a coat drive for needy students at Oak Hill Elementary. Several high quality coats and other winter apparel were donated.  Many thanks to Fire Chief Chris Walls and all members of the MJFD for this generous donation.

Millionaire Reader Recognized

Third Grade Achievers

At its December 2013 meeting, the Board of Education recognized several third grade students for their Study Island Achievement.  Pictured standing (L-R) are Jada Reese, Haley Ratliff, Reagan Michael, Amelia Michael, Kaydee Johnson, Levi Fields, Macy Bell, and Ashtan Adkins.  Also recognized, but not pictured, were Aiden Hall and Gavin Howell.  Congratulating the students are (back, L-R) board president Aaron Michael, board member Mike French, district treasurer Rhonda Harrison, and board member Regina Boggs.
